By aligning the resilience efforts of participating cities with the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, cities will be able to assess their individual problems more efficiently.

The tool will assess the cities' resilience against 117 indicators to create a detailed city resilience action plan and improve disaster risk reduction.
