The discussions focused on Ethiopia’s renewable energy potential, as well as the country’s investment policies and incentives designed to encourage both domestic and foreign investment in the sector. Members of the Ethiopian diaspora in Calgary and Brooks, Canada, have expressed strong interest in investing in Ethiopia during a diaspora engagement forum organized by the Embassy of Ethiopia in Canada.

The forum showcased the government's investment opportunities, diaspora engagement initiatives, and ongoing efforts to modernize public service delivery.
