About Sources Community Resources Society

Sources Community Resources Society is an internationally-accredited, community-based, not-for-profit multi-service agency that serves as a dependable source of help, encouragement and hope for individuals in the communities of Prince George, Fort Saint John, White Rock, Surrey, Delta, Langley, Parksville and beyond. Thousands of clients from Northern B.C. Vancouver Island, and across the Lower Mainland come to us for help each year. To serve them, we offer a variety of social wellness programs through over 20 locations that are continually expanding to meet individual and community needs. We strive to create more vibrant and resilient communities by offering support to children, youth, families, persons with disabilities, LGBTQ2S+ individuals, seniors, and others who are coping with isolation, addiction, poverty, disability and conflict. In addition to providing services on behalf of the Government of British Columbia, we are partners with the United Way of the Lower Mainland, Law Foundation of BC, Service Canada, Vancouver Foundation, Community Living BC, and more.

September is FASD Awareness Month

Everyone plays a part. Every action matters.

You can help create a community where people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) are respected, included, and supported, while promoting healthy pregnancies.

Start with one action: โœ… Learn more about FASD.
โœ… Use respectful language and challenge stigma.
โœ… Make your workplace, classroom, or community more inclusive.
โœ… Offer alcohol-free options at social gatherings.
โœ… Support people who are pregnant with compassion and without judgment.

Together, small actions can make a lasting difference.

What part will you play?
