Today was a proud day for Red Deer and Central Alberta.

Prime Minister Mark Carney's visit reaffirmed that our community has an important place in Canada's future. His commitment to working with Alberta on housing, economic growth, agriculture, and nation-building reflects a belief that progress comes through partnership, not division.

For years, many in our community have heard only one side of the story about Liberal policies. Today's visit gave Red Deerians the opportunity to hear directly from the Prime Minister about his vision for Alberta and Canada, building more homes, creating good-paying jobs, supporting farmers and ranchers, investing in infrastructure, growing our economy, and ensuring Alberta remains a key driver of Canada's prosperity.

I encourage everyone to take a closer look at the facts, read the announcements, and judge governments by what they do, not by political slogans or misinformation by conservative MP’s. Healthy debate is important in a democracy, but it should always be based on facts, respect, and an honest discussion about what is best for our community.

Red Deer deserves a strong voice in Ottawa. Central Alberta deserves investment, opportunity, and a government that is prepared to work with our province to build a stronger future.

The momentum is growing, and I believe the best days for Red Deer, Alberta, and Canada are still ahead of us.

🕗 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

The Red Deer Federal Liberal Association is proud to march once again in the Western Day Parade, celebrating community, country, and the spirit of Canada right here in Red Deer Alberta.

We’ll be carrying Liberal banners, featuring posters of Mark Carney, and proudly waving Canadian and Alberta flags as we come together in a spirit of unity and pride. Enjoy live accordion music by Darcy Spady and look for our classic red Liberal ride as part of the parade lineup.

📍We’ll be waiting at the Civic Entry Check-In Point, accessible via 48 Avenue and 43 Street- Just look for our beautiful red Liberal ride. The breakfast is exclusively for registered parade participants and is not open to the public.

🥞 Parade entry participants are invited to a complimentary Pre-Parade Pancake Breakfast, courtesy of Westerner Park, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Come walk with us or cheer from the sidelines as we celebrate Canada, community, and the values that bring us together.

Thank you to everyone who came out to pick up your lawn signs.

The Forever Canada volunteers will be at Sunworks Living in Red Deer ( 4913 50 Ave #110, Red Deer, AB T4N 4A6 ) every Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM to distribute lawn signs.

Volunteers, supporters, and donors from Red Deer and Central Alberta you are proudly placing your names in the story of Canada. Your commitment, dedication, and love for this country will be remembered for generations.
