Thanksgiving can be a busy time—preparing dishes and getting ready for family and friends. 🦃🍂 With so much happening in the kitchen, it can be easy to step away or get distracted.

When cooking on the stovetop, stay in the kitchen and keep your attention on the food. Never leave a pan unattended—even for a short time.

If you need to step away from the kitchen, turn off the stove and take the pan off the heat. Unattended cooking can quickly lead to a fire.
