During the Regular Council Meeting of February 10, 2025, Salisbury Town Council updated the previously proposed ATV By-law and replaced it with an updated version, which had First and Second Readings during the same meeting.
In the Fall, the Town heard from the Government of New Brunswick that significant changes were required to our proposed By-law. These were discussed at a November Committee of the Whole meeting, leading to the revised proposal that passed first and second reading during the recent meeting of Council.
While scaled back, the revised proposal is intended to secure provincial approval with the intent of considering expansion to the permitted streets once the regulated access is permitted. The revised proposal has been sent to the Province for consideration.
