Salmo Skatebowl Located in The Salmo Valley Youth and Community Center. Current sessions are Thursdays 7pm-9pm
Helments are required, we have loaners available.

Please donation $5 pre session. Indoor Skate Bowl located in Salmo, BC. Come join us Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Nights from Nov-Apr for drop in from 7-9PM 5$ cash at the door

Helmets are mandatory, we do have helmets here to borrow. More Volunteers mean more sessions! Volunteers always wanted. Under 18 years of age need parent or guardian signature ID, and care card required. 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The Salmo Bowl is one of the Kootenay’s only public indoor skateboard facilities. In the past, the community centre has kept up with raising funds to cover insurance costs to stay open. The bowl is able to stay open because the volunteers and amazing people in the skate community. This last fall all the fundraising was up to the volunteers. We have had amazing people, bands, and skate shops help support the bowl. This is the only way it has been able to stay open. Going into 2027 we are now required to start paying rent in the space. Please come out on August 1st to help support the bowl and keep it open for the future. This is a really special place. Once it is closed it will be very difficult to get back open.

So, tomorrow night will be the last Thursday session for the winter season and Tuesday as of midnight we will be closing for a bit. We WILL! open again as soon as the paperwork gets done to create our own society, write a couple more grants and scrape together a few more bucks for insurance.
More volunteers are always welcomed as well as any donations to keep the park alive.
Long live the Salmo Bowl. ⚡️🛹⚡️
