A hot meal on a Wednesday shouldn't feel like a lifeline but for thousands of people in Scarborough it is.

Every Wednesday, Malvern Eats opens its doors for seniors, single parents, and families who need it most.

All are welcome to gather around a table and enjoy a hot meal together.

Since its inception, we have served 70,000+ meals. But with rising food insecurity, the need is growing fast.

Some have escaped abuse, only to face locked doors and cold streets.

At Muslim Welfare Homes, every bed means safety, every meal means dignity, and every donation means another mother and child can sleep in peace.

They spent their whole lives building this community...praying for us, sacrificing for us, showing up for us. They deserve to spend their final years somewhere that truly feels like home.
MWC's 192-bed Long-Term Care Home in Courtice is being built for them. A place rooted in faith, dignity, and compassion, opening in 2027.

The Prophet (ο·Ί) taught us that fasting on the Day of Arafah expiates the sins of the year before it and the year after it.

As you raise your hands in dua on this blessed day, remember those who are facing severe hunger, poverty, and hardship. Pair your prayers with action by giving generously.
