Attended a small gathering yesterday with Sammy O and Minister Charmaine Williams, on Advancing Women’s Economic and Leadership roles in Niagara. I left very unsure what is actually being done to support this in Niagara. Although I do believe some of the attendees did get resources for their specific needs.

NEWS | We are proud to celebrate the commencement of essential, housing enabling watermain and sanitary sewer upgrades on Regional Rd. 20 and Wade Rd.

This afternoon, Mayor Ganann was joined by MPP Oosterhoff, Councillors Chechalk, Maychak, Reilly and Trombetta, along with Township and Regional staff and local developers for a groundbreaking ceremony to mark this major milestone.

These critical infrastructure improvements will unlock future housing opportunities in Smithville’s growth area, ensuring the community can accommodate new homes and families while maintaining safe, reliable water and wastewater services. The project represents an important step in advancing our commitment to sustainable growth.
