Last week, members of the new Premier's Youth Council were announced. This week, they met face-to-face in St. John's. There was a busy schedule of meetings, presentations, and discussions, and members talked with the Premier and some members of cabinet. The council was also invited to meet with the Prime Minister's Youth Council, who were also in town for meetings. While downtown for that meeting, members of the Council visited the statue of Terry Fox on the harbourfront.

The Premier's Youth Council will have one in-person meeting each year, and communicate more regularly online and through conference calls.

The council will provide advice to Government from a youth perspective on select topics of interest.
