On , we’re proud to celebrate the dedicated police service dogs who serve alongside our members with courage, loyalty and unwavering commitment.

A special recognition to our STPS K-9 teams, Police Service Dog Rocky and Constable Kyle Beech, and Police Service Dog Nighthawk and Constable Derek Smith.

The trust, teamwork and partnership shared by our police service dogs and their handlers play an essential role in helping keep our community safe.

Thank you, Rocky and Nighthawk, for all that you do!

One week. One community. A whole lot of school supplies.

We’re getting ready to do it again.

On Monday, August 31, STPS and Doug Tarry Homes will be back at Walmart St. Thomas, 1063 Talbot Street, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. collecting new school supplies for local elementary students.

Backpacks, lunch bags, water bottles, school supplies and gift cards are all welcome. Cash donations will also be accepted and used to purchase the items students need most.

Last year, our community showed up in a big way. We can’t wait to see what St. Thomas does this year.

Rain or shine, stop by and help us make sure local students head back to school ready to learn.

That’s a wrap on Kids ’n Kops 2026! 💗

What a week.

From farm visits and swimming, to the beach, mini golf, jumping, laughing and a whole lot of new adventures, our Kids ’n Kops crew packed a LOT into a few days.

But the best part of the week wasn’t where we went. It was the confidence built, the conversations shared and the chance for our members and these incredible kids to simply have fun together.

A huge thank you to Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas-Elgin, our volunteers, community partners and everyone who helped make another unforgettable Kids ’n Kops experience possible.

Judging by the smiles, we’d say it was a pretty great week. 💗
