Long post alert...but we promise, it’s a worthwhile read!

What happens when the only red marker goes missing… and everyone is suspicious?

You get a completely absurd, channel-hopping, TV-surfing sketch show written and performed by kids, for kids full of mystery, comedy, chaos, big characters, dramatic accusations, and one very important question: what happened to the red marker?

This short original performance was created as part of our Find Your Voice project, funded by the Thunder Bay Community Foundation. We are so grateful for their support in helping young people explore creativity, confidence, collaboration, humour, and self-expression through theatre.

We are also so thankful for our ongoing partnership with BGC Thunder Bay, which helps make it possible for kids to create and perform original plays right in their own neighbourhood, in spaces that already feel safe, familiar, and welcoming to them. A huge thank you to the BGC staff for supporting this process , especially Savannah, who has been fully involved from day one and has helped make this project such a positive, playful, and confidence-building experience for the kids.

The kids have been building this show from their own ideas and, honestly, they are hilarious. It’s weird, clever, dramatic, ridiculous, and wonderfully them.
