💧 Update on the new Tisdale Water Tower. Sandblasting and the first coat of primer has been applied on the exterior of the water tank.

Most of the tank is welded together at ground level. Then it’s sandblasted ✔️ before being epoxy coated, x-rayed and hoisted skywards.

Next task, epoxy coating.

When complete, the new water tower will stand approximately 66 metres tall and hold 10 million litres (ML) of potable water.

Ontario’s tallest (and largest volume) water tower is being built in Timmins. Check out the project animation at: www.timmins.ca/our_services/engineering/capital_works/timmins_tisdale_water_tower

⚠️ We have an emergency watermain repair on Bristol Rd. affecting homes east of the Porcupine River Bridge.

Residents in this area may experience low water pressure or discoloured water while repairs are being made. Repairs are now underway and are expected to be completed by 12:00 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2026.

If you experience discoloured water, turn on the COLD water tap closest to the source, usually your laundry tub, and let it run for approximately 15-20 minutes or until the water colour has returned to normal.

We appreciate your patience during this necessary work.
