All About #SaveTheOFT

We are a small, non-partisan group of #Etobicoke residents who have gathered in opposition to the possible relocation of the #OntarioFoodTerminal and sale of its public lands. We also stand against any privatization efforts that could hinder operations and increase costs throughout Ontario’s food network. We have three primary objectives:


  • Ensure a Provincially Significant Employment Zone (PSEZ) designation for the Ontario Food Terminal lands

  • Secure a formal statement from Minister Ernie Hardeman and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs saying the terminal will not be relocated or privatized

  • Secure a formal statement from Minister Steve Clark and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing saying the public land on which the Ontario Food Terminal sits will not be sold
