Yesterday was a very eventful day at the Consulate of The Republic Of Guyana, in Toronto, Canada.
What was supposed to be the Consulate’s annual Christmas celebration turned into an event that paid tribute to the 5 fallen soldiers of Guyana, who went down while patrolling the Guyana-Venezulian border.
I am recommending these men to receive our country’s highest national award.
It was also the birthday of Mrs. Ali, mother of President Irfaan Ali and mother-in-law to First Lady Arya Ali. Join me to wish this great mother of Guyana a Happy birthday.
I had meaningful conversations with members of our diplomatic team to Canada, staff of the embassy and other business owners present on how we can collaborate to protect our border from the threat of Venezuela Dictator aggression.
