Today is Abby's birthday. 💙
Abby would be 27 today.

For those of us who knew and loved her, September 20 will always be a day of remembering her life and of thinking about all that should have been.

Abby was so much more than the way her life ended. She was a daughter, a sister, a friend, a cousin, a granddaughter. She was funny and loving and full of personality. She loved food, reading books, writing stories and spending time with others. And of course animals, especially dogs!

Happy birthday Abigail
Always loved. Always missed. Always remembered. 💙

Today, on World Su***de Prevention Day, we're thinking of Abby and of everyone that has ever felt alone in the dark.

Changing the narrative on su***de requires systemic change. It's about shifting from a culture of silence and stigma to one of openness, understanding, and support.

Every conversation helps someone feel less alone. Please keep having those conversations.

If you or someone you love is struggling, please reach out. You matter, and help is available. 💙

11 years.
Another year of loving Abby, missing her, and carrying her with us. I wonder every day what Abby would be doing, if only she was here with us.
She loved animals, she loved being around people, she loved adventures and being fully in the world. She was that person who would almost never say no. She smiled as a baby early and never really stopped. Her life for the 15 years on this planet was just way too short.
If you are struggling today, with your mental health, with loss, with feeling like you can't go on, please know that you are not alone. Abby's story is why we keep talking about this. Because silence costs lives. Reach out to someone you trust. Ask for help. Stay. If you need someone right now, call or text 988.
To everyone who has shown up for our family, year after year, quietly and faithfully…thank you. That means everything.
We remember you, Abby. We love you without end 💙
