Before you raise your hand, raise your humanity.
Not every story fits into a checkbox. Some are told in broken English, sleepless nights, and silent prayers. Behind every label, “illegal,” “alien,” “other” is a person. A parent. A child. A dream.
Let’s choose empathy over easy answers.

Home is something you carry now.
In your food, your faith, your laughter.
Even far away, you’re never truly without it.
⁣
What part of “home” did you bring with you?

Every few seconds, someone needs a lifeline — and it could be you, me, or someone we love.

From mothers in labor to children fighting cancer, the need for blood is constant, urgent, and deeply human.

Today is , and this is your chance to make a quiet but lifesaving difference.

You don’t need a cape, just compassion and a little courage.

Roll up your sleeve. Be the reason someone gets another tomorrow.

She had just arrived.
Pregnant. Tired. Hopeful.
Her 2-year-old son stood beside their suitcase, holding his little trolley.
They had made it out of Iran — finally.

But in the blink of an eye, everything changed.

A man named Vladimir Vitkov walked up to the child
and slammed him to the floor.

No words.
No warning.
Just silence… followed by screams.

Now her son is in a coma.
She is alone, in a foreign land, waiting. Praying.

She didn’t come looking for trouble — she came looking for peace.

But sometimes, even after the war ends at home,
the fight continues in unexpected places.

🧡 If this moved you, please share.
Let her story remind us all to look closer, care deeper, and protect what’s precious.

They called it noise,
but we call it rising. 🌱

This is more than a page, it is a movement in the making. Built from the quiet strength of immigrant women who have always been told to shrink. We are not here for the likes, we are here to be heard.

“I’ve only been with one person, do I still need an HPV test?”
Yes, because it’s about prevention, not judgment.
HPV can be silent for years, even in monogamous relationships.

Protecting your health means staying informed.
Your body, your choice always. 🧡

Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day.

A day to honour the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples — the original stewards of this land.

As immigrant women, we came here carrying our own stories of movement, migration, and survival.
But we also arrived on land that was never ours to begin with.

And that truth matters.

Before we build platforms…
Before we share stories…
Before we seek belonging in a new country…
We must ask: who was here first, and what has been lost in their silence?

Her Immigrant Tales stands in deep respect for Indigenous voices —
not just in celebration today,
but in acknowledgment every day.

To the women, elders, youth, and storytellers of Indigenous communities:
🧡 We honour your resilience.
🧡 We honour your sovereignty.
🧡 We honour your stories.

This is not just a moment.
It’s a responsibility.

Behind every border crossed is a story worth hearing. We give it up to the real champions!
