Young Networking Society

Young Networking Society The Young Networking Society brings together both newcomers and long-time residents of the Colchester region through social and cultural events.

Once a month the society will host an event such as a local excursion, a meet and greet, or international pot-luck. These events provide networking opportunities and a chance for newcomers to experience all that the Colchester region has to offer. Monthly Events:

YNS hosts Thirsty Thursday on the first Thursday of every month, at 7pm at Split Crow. Come out for drinks, friends, and fun. YNS hosts

Studio Tuesday the second Tuesday of every month. We meet at Empire Theatres for the early show of a movie voted on by the members of the YNS Facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/groups/ynsociety/)

The Marigold has a great show this Friday night, a two for one: Aidan Knight and Folly & The Hunter.

The Marigold would love to see young people in our community get out to this performance as a show of support for these up and coming musicians! They're offering students, as well as members of both Colchester Next and the Young Networking Society, tickets to this show at $10.00! Show starts at 7:30, doors open at 7:00.

Our Studio Tuesday voting results are in. The official winner this month is . . . 21 and Over. We shall be viewing the early show which plays at 7:05 pm. Everyone who is interested we will be meeting in the lobby at one of the tables with signs at 6:15. We will be entering the cinema at 6:45. We Hope to see everyone out. :)

The Young Networking Society (YNS) is starting a new monthly event to join our lineup of Thirsty Thursday and our main even each month. This event is called Studio Tuesday and is a movie night held on the second Tuesday (cheap movie night at Empire Theatres) of every month.

The movie will be chosen by a poll on our Facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/groups/ynsociety/). The polling will open when the movies are announced on Wednesday and the result will be declared Sunday evening. We will be attending the early show of whichever movie is chosen.

Hope to see many people out to join us.
