COMMENTING POLICY
While we encourage visitors to share thoughts and opinions on our page, we expect that this will be done in a respectful manner and that the social media spaces Dog-Friendly Vancouver occupies will be safe for all. Therefore, a comment will be deleted if it contains:
• Hate speech
• Profanity, obscenity or vulgarity
• Comments which denigrate others on the basis of gend
er, race, ability, language, religion, ethnicity, age, class, sexual orientation and/or gender identity, or species
• Comments which denigrate renters, tenants, people with low to moderate incomes, or homeless people
• Defamation to a person or people
• Name calling and/or personal attacks,
• Comments whose main purpose are to sell a product, and
• Comments that infringe on copyrights, trademarks or patents outside of fair dealing exemptions
• Misrepresentation of the goals of Dog-Friendly Vancouver,
• Representation of opinion as fact,
• Spam comments, such as the same comment posted repeatedly,
• Other comments that Dog-Friendly Vancouver deems inappropriate. Repeat violators of this policy will be banned from further commenting.
