Tobias Bouchard /MM/

Tobias Bouchard /MM/ (Canadian Ministry of Magic) Tobias (Toby) Beauregard Bouchard was born on March 29, 2007, in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Simon and Maelee (née Levesque).

He has three older siblings Jacob (Jan 2000), Ella Rycroft (2002), and Arianna Theriault (2005). He attended Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from September 1, 2018, to June 2025, a member of Pukwudgie House. Tobias met his wife, Vilandra Cowell, during their second year. Vilandra was a Thunderbird student. On April 24, 2023, when they were both sixteen, they started dating. On July 2,

2031, he proposed to her. They married on July 14, 2032. Their first child Serenity Avril was born on February 20, 2035; three more children followed Atley Simon on August 18, 2037, Aryenna Marian on October 3, 2042, and Jacob Keneil on September 28, 2048. He worked as an Auror from September 2025 to December 2039. In January 2040, he became the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Toby had decided that after nine and a half years, he would step down from being Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Canadian Ministry. His last day would be Friday, June 2. He would take the summer off to spend more time with Vi and the kids. It would also allow him to help out more on his cousin's campaign. In the fall, he would apply for another ministry position.

Toby had considered attending the meeting in New York, but he had decided against it. Vilandra was far into her pregnancy, and though the baby wasn't due until next month, one never knew with babies sometimes they came early. His father and brother would be there so they would tell him what was said at the meeting.

Toby would be taking six weeks of paid paternity leave once the baby came. All Canadian parents that had a baby or adopted were given 40 weeks of paid paternity leave, and it could be extended to 79 weeks. It didn't have to be taken consecutively and could be used up to 24 months after the baby was born or adopted. If there was a serious emergency, he would go into the Ministry.
