🚨 UPDATE: Jason Onyishi Has Been Found Safe 🚨

We’re relieved to share that 11-year-old Jason Onyishi, who was reported missing in Surrey on May 22, 2026, has been found safe in Delta after a member of the public recognized him from the community alerts and media coverage.

Surrey Police Service confirmed the update and thanked the public, media outlets, and community members for helping bring attention to the case.

This is an important reminder of what can happen when communities move quickly, share information responsibly, and look out for one another. Sometimes reposting actually matters. The internet briefly remembered it was invented for communication instead of rage and sponsored leggings.
