Thank you for ten years!

Ten years ago I loaded my first buckets of flowers into a pop-up space I had rented for Mother’s Day in Chinatown, having no idea what I was doing or how it would pan out. With that, Rogue Florist was born, and it became a decade long source of happiness and fulfilment for me. I am so grateful for all the friends I have made, the celebrations I was able to be part of, and for every time I was able to hold flowers in my hands and create with them.

It is now time to close this chapter, which I do with so much pride and joy.

Early spring offers so much in the way of flowers. Delicate variegation in the tenderest new petals and leaves, gentle softness of colour and shape, visual interest, light pattern, movement and texture.

Something I love about spring is the opportunity to use a large variety of flowers for my events and orders, choosing fewer greens. Using an assortment of shapes and sizes of blooms and only one type of structural greenery keeps my arrangements light, airy, interesting and intentional.

I can’t wait to be sharing my passenger seat with precious cargo like these local tulips and ranunculus 🥰

Connecting with other flower fanatics is really one of the best things about the career I have chosen, and I have the utmost respect for those who dedicate their lives to the hard work of growing these incredible blooms.

I am very happy to see our beautiful spring editorial was posted online as well as in print at yesterday!

I absolutely loved working with this talented team; it was a fun challenge working delicate spring blooms of lilac and lily of the valley into a colourful coral/orange palette 🧡

A new-to-me wreath style, developed for Circle Craft and inspired by a birds nest. I’m so proud of my team who pulled this together so beautifully in the last hour. Thank you to for having us, and for building the booth of my dreams, and my friends and for all your hours as well. Special thanks as well to my dad for caring for Willa while we worked around the clock.
