On October 1, 2022, Saskatoon conservation officers received information regarding a white-tailed deer found in the ditch at the intersection of Range Road 3100 and Township Road 343, exactly 10km west of Delisle, on the boundary of the RM's of Vanscoy and Perdue.
Upon investigation, a white-tailed buck was located and had been partially butchered, with the majority left to waste. It is believed to have been shot. Some evidence was collected, but officers are requesting the public's help in providing further information that could lead to the identification of those responsible. It is believed to have occurred sometime between 4:00pm on Friday, September 30th and 11:00am on Saturday, October 1st.
