Climate Action Project The Climate Action Project engages the UW community to encourage that the Canadian government take progressive climate action. Stay tuned for more information.

STARTED IN 2009, RELAUNCHING FOR THE WINTER 2014 TERM

Previous activities have included: Meeting with our local Member of Parliament, attending political events to ask questions about climate change policy, organizing a speaker/discussion event in partnership with YG8, flashmob at UW.

The Climate Action Project hopes to educate UW students on initiatives proposed by political parties to encourage informed voting. Moreover, The Climate Action Project hopes to promote environmental consciousness to students and staff on UW campus. For the Winter 2014 Term, the Climate Action Project hopes to explore ways to incentivize students to become more politically engaged.
