The Welland Downtown BIA Board of Directors is pleased to introduce Lisa Mooney to the team in the role of Treasurer.
Lisa holds a BA (Honours) and a Bachelor of Education. She is currently the Executive Director of the Welland Museum. She brings a strong background in education, program development and community outreach to her role. Her leadership is grounded in collaboration and a deep appreciation for local heritage.
She is also a dedicated volunteer sitting on several Boards and Committees in the community.

Today's the day! Join us from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. for an afternoon and evening packed with live entertainment, family-friendly activities, community displays, local vendors, delicious food, and fireworks to end the celebration. 🎆

A few reminders before you head down:

🥫 Bring a non-perishable food item for our Community Food Drive Collection and help support local families.

💧 It's shaping up to be a warm day, so remember to stay hydrated and refill your water bottle throughout the event.

🍔 Come hungry! Our local food vendors will be serving up plenty of delicious options all day long.

❤️🤍 Grab your family and friends, wear your red and white, and meet us on the canal for a day of community, celebration, and Canadian pride.

Road Closure notice for the Rose Festival. All road closure begin at 10am. Please move your cars so you are not towed. Rexal to Breakfast Barn will close at 10. The section of King in front of Merritt Park is closed all weekend. Rexal to Merritt Park will close at 10am. East Main will close down around 10 as well.

This past Friday we welcomed back the Concerts on The Canal. Beautiful weather, in beautiful Welland. What could be better?
