This past Friday we welcomed back the Concerts on The Canal. Beautiful weather, in beautiful Welland. What could be better?

A sure sign summer is on it's way....the hanging baskets and planters have returned to downtown. Our WDBIA Board Chair, Jesse, is celebrating the first signs of the season. Thanks to the team Basket Garden Centre for their continued partnership and Jamie and his gang for all the hard work.

June is here and the line up of events this month at The Bank is bringing the heat!

Kicking of the month, Femmes du Feu is presenting THE GREATEST SHOW IN TOWN on June 5th, a fundraiser show featuring exciting performances by their Youth Circus Troupe as well as a whole bunch of exciting surprise guests! Don't miss this night of performing arts and music in support of a deserving student!

Our monthly JAM NIGHT returns on June 06. Come out and join the jam, or hang out and watch some great live music come alive on our stage! Funk, Rock, Blues and more create a unique experience that keeps growing every month!

June 13, WAY TOO FEST takes over the city with an amazing line up of bands and we are excited to be part of it! Grab a wristband and get access to a whole day of good vibes and great music! You don't want to miss this!

KARAOKE NIGHT with KJ Christie Hails is back on June 18! Come belt out your fave songs on the best stage in town or hang out and enjoy the show! Always a great crowd on Karaoke Night!

Get ready to rock with EMERG on June 19! These young rockers are making big moves and they always put on a great, high energy show! Special guests include your new favourite girl band from Hamilton - THEIA, and Ottawa math rockers - THE BURNINGTREE, making this a show not to miss!

The following night, June 20 - THE HIP EXPERIENCE brings the ultimate Tragically Hip tribute show to The Bank! Dont miss this night that will have you singing along to all your fave Canadian rock classics!

Wrapping up the month, ALL SHAPES OF SEXY ENTERTAINMENT is back June 26 & 27 for back-to-back nights with BACK TO THE 80'S, their new 80's themed burlesque show! Tease up that hair, throw on your brightest neon, and stick around after the show for an exciting dance party! If you haven't been to one of these shows, now is your chance!

Heads up ....Main Street bridge is closed all of next week for construction purposes

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE | The Main Street bridge will be closed from May 4 to 8 as construction continues on West Main Street.

Detours and signage will be in place to help guide you through the area.
