Walton Lighthouse

Walton Lighthouse Built in 1873, this is the last remaining original lighthouse in Hants County.

The lighthouse, giftshop, and park are maintained and operated by the non-profit Walton Area Development Association (WADA).

Tide's on the way in and a few boats are out fishing. Come on down to check it out. Remember to stop by The Beacon Gift Shop. In addition to our Walton Lighthouse t-shirts and hoodies, we also have local work from 18 different artists.

Walton Area Development Association (Walton lighthouse and other projects) will be holding it's monthly meeting tomorrow night, Tuesday, June 2nd at 7pm at the Walton Firehall. If you are interested in serving your community by joining the group, we are always open to new members and fresh ideas.

It's a beautiful day at the Walton Lighthouse for our opening weekend! Gates are open 8 am to 8 pm and The Beacon Gift Shop is open 10 am to 4 pm Saturday through Monday.
