August is a busy month in our local communities! Remember to stop by to visit us to have a little rest from the this weekend. Lots of treasures to be found in our area with proceeds staying in the community. Check out the sales at the (which will include tables for ), at , at and down to .
Then next weekend help us celebrate our birthday here at the with bbq, cake, music in the afternoon and dancing in the evening at the Walton Firehall!
There will be time to slow down when the snow flies!

We're looking forward to seeing you on August 15th. Spend Saturday afternoon (noon to 3pm) enjoying our park and lighthouse and celebrate with games, hotdogs and cake. Then in the evening from 9pm to 1am continue the celebration (age 19+) by kicking up your heels at the dance held at the Walton Firehall.

Come help us celebrate the 153rd birthday of the Lighthouse! August 15th from noon to 3pm. BBQ, cake and fun free events, followed in the evening by a dance at the Walton Shore Volunteer Fire Dept from 9pm to 1am. Admission to dance is $10/person.

We're pretty excited today. L.Keeper, the porch goose has arrived at the Walton Lighthouse ! She has taken up residence and plans to stay for a few weeks to enjoy the gardens, the trail, the sunset views and to keep an eye on the fishers out on the basin. Along with her she has brought a collection of her outfits which she is planning to sell. Stop by to see her soon!
