Just one week left to reserve your spot at our September 12 Beehive Community Dinner! 🌻

Join us for vegetarian chilli with an optional chilli-spiced beef topping, homemade cornbread, blueberry swirl blondies, casual trivia, a simple craft, and shared tables with neighbours.

Tickets are $10 and must be purchased by Thursday, September 10 so our volunteer team can prepare the meal.

The Beehive Community Dinner is back on Saturday, September 12 with Chilli, Cornbread & Trivia.

Join us in South Surrey for a homemade meal, shared tables, easy conversation, casual table trivia, and a simple optional craft.

On the menu: vegetarian chilli with an optional chilli-spiced beef topping, homemade cornbread with honey butter, blueberry swirl blondies, and plenty of toppings.

$10 tickets · 5:00–9:00 p.m. · Mount Olive Lutheran Church

Everyone is welcome — come with friends, family, or on your own. Although we gather in a church hall, The Beehive is not a religious initiative; people of all beliefs, backgrounds, ages and identities are warmly welcome.

We’re excited to share that The Beehive Community Dinner will be back this fall with two new dates:

A huge thank you to Mount Olive Lutheran Church for helping make these next dinners possible and welcoming us into the space.

The Beehive is all about simple things that matter -- sharing a meal, meeting neighbours, and creating a warm, affordable place for people in our community to connect.

Wow! Another amazing night at The Beehive!! Thank you so much to everyone who came and made the space so warm, thank you Prairie Wolfe and for sharing their amazing musical talents, and to all of our wonderful volunteers — we couldn’t do it without you!!

This was our last dinner of our three dinner pilot. We will now take some time to evaluate, look at what we learned, and decide what comes next. We expect to be able to host another dinner in the next few months. Stay tuned 😃🐝.

For now enjoy your day! And Happy Mother’s Day to all of the nurturers, we appreciate all of the love and attention you put into to taking care of others! Today is your day to be taken care of and spoiled ❤️

Okay, this is your final nudge — the May 9 Beehive Dinner is looking very delicious. 🐝

We’ve been testing recipes, planning tables, and getting ready for a warm evening of good food, live music, and great company.

And since it’s Mother’s Day weekend, this could be a lovely way to treat someone who has supported you — your mom, grandmother, partner, friend, neighbour, or anyone who deserves a special night out.

But we need our final numbers soon so our volunteers can shop, prep, cook, and make sure there’s enough for everyone.
