Every November, millions of Canadians wear a poppy to honour those who served and sacrificed—from the World Wars, Afghanistan, and to modern missions around the world. 🌺

The poppy’s legacy began with John McCrae’s “In Flanders Fields”, inspiring Moina Michael and Madame E. Guerin to make it a global symbol of remembrance. Adopted in 1921 by the Royal British Legion, it became a way to both honour the fallen and support veterans.

Our cadets proudly take part in the annual Poppy Drive, helping keep this tradition of remembrance alive for future generations. 🇨🇦

Wishing Warrant Officer Evan Harriott all the best. Warrant Harriott is hanging up his uniform from the 2701 PPCLI Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corp after 4 years of outstanding dedication, leadership, and service within the Canadian Cadet Organization.

From his first day in uniform to his final parade, WO Harriott has set the standard for excellence — mentoring younger cadets, embodying the Cadet Motto “Acer Acerpori” (“As the Maple, So the Sapling”), and leading with integrity, respect, and pride.

Your commitment, discipline, and passion will leave a lasting impact on everyone in the corps. As you hang up your uniform and move on to your new adventure in the Canadian Armed Forces, know that your legacy of leadership will continue to inspire those who follow in your footsteps.

Thank you for your service, leadership, dedication, and congratulations on your enrolment in the Canadian Armed Forces 🇨🇦

Welcome back Cadets, Family, and Friends of 2701 PPCLI RCACC! We hope you had a restful break and are ready to start fresh this September. Beginning September 8, we’re excited to welcome all new and returning cadets back for our first parade night of the year.

Open to all youth ages 12-18 that are looking for a new challenge and new friendships, and it’s FREE

To ensure we have the most up-to-date information for every new and returning cadet, we encourage cadets to bring their parents/guardians with them to help us verify details and complete any required updates. New cadets, please ensure to bring a document showing proof of your age and your Manitoba health Card.

Let’s make this year a great one!
