Just a friendly reminder that the Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, August 3 as per our regular operating hours.

If you're planning a trip to the Transfer Station over the long weekend, be sure to check the attached hours before you head out.

♻️ New Recycling Update!♻️

Good news, Woodlands residents! Empty paper beverage cups can now be placed in your blue recycling bin.

This includes:
- Coffee cups
- Fountain drink cups
-Other hot and cold paper beverage cups

Before recycling, please remember to:
✅ Empty the cup
✅ Remove the lid

🚫 Please note: Plastic coffee cup lids are not accepted in Manitoba's recycling program and should be placed in the garbage.

📢 Flood Clean-Up Update

Following the flooding event in June, the RM of Woodlands temporarily waived Transfer Station user fees for flood-damaged materials to assist residents with clean-up efforts.

Please note that regular Transfer Station user fees will be reinstated effective Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

As flood recovery efforts wind down, just a reminder that the temporary large waste bins that were placed in Warren and Woodlands have also been removed.

We appreciate the community's efforts and cooperation as we continue to recover together.

📢 Flood Clean-Up Bin Update – June 26

Another update on the temporary flood clean-up bins:

🔹 The Warren bin was emptied today and will remain in place until the end of next week.

🔹 The Woodlands bin has also been emptied and will be returned to its location later today. It will remain in place until the end of next week.

🔹 The Transfer Station will continue to accept flood-related waste, and user fees for flood-damaged materials will be waived until further notice.

The Transfer Station will be open tomorrow, Sunday June 14th from 8:30am-5pm.

📢 Flood Clean-up Update

The Woodlands Waste Transfer Station will be open tomorrow, Sunday, June 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to help residents continue making progress with their flood cleanup efforts.

Please note that the flood clean-up bin in Warren is now full. Do not open the bin doors or place any additional items inside. As a reminder, do not leave items on the ground beside the bin, as this creates safety and clean-up concerns.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation as we work through the cleanup process together.

A sincere thank you to our dedicated Transfer Station staff for making the extended hours possible.

Flood Recovery Temporary Clean-Up Bins Available

UPDATE 06/13 8:45pm: The Warren bin is full, do not open the door or leave items outside the bin - thank you for your cooperation.

To assist residents with flood recovery efforts, temporary clean-up bins will be placed at the following locations:

📍 Warren Multi-Purpose Building
152 MacDonald Avenue, Warren
IMPORTANT: Bin is being delivered this evening June 12th

📍 Woodlands Public Works Yard
129 Railway Avenue, Woodlands
IMPORTANT: Bin is being delivered Monday, June 15th

🕒 Available 24/7

These bins are intended to help residents dispose of flood-related debris safely and efficiently. Your cooperation in using the bins properly helps keep the sites clean and accessible for everyone.
