The Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre (PWNHC) is a welcoming space that let’s northerners tell their stories, allows visitors to learn about and appreciate the cultures, histories, art, and natural beauty of the NWT, and provides programs, service, exhibits, and activities for all ages to enjoy. The PWNHC is operated by the Department of Education, Culture and Employment. Detailed questions

about specific PWNHC programs and services can be submitted through our contact form at www.pwnhc.ca/contact. The NWT Archives collects, preserves, and provides access to records that document the history of the Northwest Territories regardless of format. Archives include both records of the Government of the Northwest Territories and those created by private individuals and organizations. The NWT Archives resides within the department of Education, Culture and Employment. Detailed questions about the NWT Archives programs and services can be emailed to [email protected].
