Transfer: Aubameyang agrees to join Manchester United from Arsenal

Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said ‘said yes’ to Manchester United, according to Tuttosports.

Aubameyang has been linked with a shock move from Arsenal to United in the past few days.

Reports had emerged from Italy and England that United identified Aubameyang as a perfect replacement for Romelu Lukaku should the Belgian leave this summer.

Inter Milan and Juventus have keen interest in Lukaku, and, according to the newspaper, Aubameyang has ‘said yes’ to the idea of replacing the former Everton man at United.

Aubameyang won the Premier League golden boot last season with 22 goals.

But at 30 years old, the Gabonese international would go against manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s transfer policy of signing young players with plenty of potential.

Arsenal would also want to recoup the £54m they paid for him 18 months ago.

Video Proof: Vice President Osinbajo Never Said Kidnapping In Nigeria Is Exaggerated

The headline “Kidnapping in Nigeria is exaggerated” accredited to Nigeria’s Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, is simply not true.



Making this disclosure, Senior Special adviser to the Vice president on media, Laolu Akande affirmed that Professor Osinbajo never used the word “exaggerated”; not even by implication.

This was after a state run media, the New Agency Of Nigeria, NAN quoted the VP with the headline, “Kidnapping in Nigeria is exaggerated – VP Osinbajo” as saying that “Kidnapping in is exaggerated for political gains and not entirely new.



But reacting Akande said that the vice president’s remarks about the social media being hysterical was a general response to comments made by participants at the meeting.

According to him, the VP had in New York warned about applying caution in assimilating information on social media, while speaking on Nigeria’s security situation.

The VP was quoted by his aide to have warned against relying entirely for information on social media as the platform media tends to be hysterical about practically everything.

Osinbajo expressed there was also a lot of politics involved in some of the information as they comes up, while stressing on the importance of pointing out that this new wave of issues of security came immediately after the elections.
