EGYPTIAN PROSPERITY; A TRAP HIDDEN INSIDE THE GLORY.

If you are a pastor, one of the ways the kingdom of darkness silences the reach of your voice and impact is to give you Egyptian prosperity instead of true kingdom riches. Egypt here is not the Egypt in Africa but a symbol of anti-kingdom and compromising methods that make men rich in the church.

The devil told Jesus to bow to him in private so he will transfer wealth to him but Jesus rebuked him and he disappeared. That was a private transaction that no one would have known. God forbid but if Jesus had bowed, this wouldn't have stopped Him from preaching and doing miracles as usual. But Jesus taught us to be smart and to know the devil can give riches through his own means.

Being in ministry for 16 years now has made me experience these kinds of proposals and ideas many times. Egypt is not a place where God will prosper His servants. It is a place where you bow to something evil to get wealth, cars, opportunities and lifting. It is a place of compromise, deception and bo***ge.

I didn't say all rich believers have bowed to something but what I am saying is if the devil will propose this to Jesus, he definitely has this as a core method of luring men and women in the kingdom of God to serve him.

At a certain level in the ministry, you will be approached by these Egyptian methods. Only your true faith in God and in His word will make you stand. If the devil wasn't afraid of Jesus in 40 days fasting and prayer to propose this, what makes you think he will be afraid of you?

There are car offers you shouldn't take. There are platforms you shouldn't climb. There are opportunities that must not be explored. There are systems you shouldn't enter. There are open doors that should never be opened.

The devil still uses this method today to take advantage of true ministers of the gospel. Infact, this is the modern day temptation. It is sponsored by competition and craving for superiority in ministry. Hardship also can be a reason for these kinds of temptations but he that knows his God shall do great exploits. Take your time, go gradually. God sees your faithfulness.
