Highway self-driving along the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River

Highway self-driving in the Three Gorges takes two days.

Starting point: Zigui. Visit Qu Yuan's hometown. Ticket + sightseeing bus. Two hours.

Day 1: National Highway 348, connect to Jiangpo, Xiling Gorge, Guojiaba, Lianghekou, Shazhenxi, Badong County. Leave the Yangtze River, go north to Xiqiuwan, take the Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway to Wushan County and stay overnight.
It is not recommended to go to the Lesser Three Gorges and Goddess Peak. The goddess is smaller than Grandma Tianshan Child Elder.

Day 2: Township Road 109, follow the river to Quchixiang. Then navigate to the top of the Three Gorges.

The road condition of Township Road 109 is average. Sedans can pass. Going north from Quchixiang, the road condition gets better and better. The road is transformed from white to black. It is not recommended to enter the scenic area at the top of the Three Gorges. There are viewing platforms by the roadside for free viewing of the Wu Gorge. Overlooking the Yangtze River near the airport is the most spectacular.

Go down the mountain along the tourist scenic avenue to the White Emperor Temple. The viewing platform by the roadside can see the Qutang Gorge for free. Quietly prepare a ten-yuan banknote and take a photo with it in the same frame.

This route is basically along the river. There are viewing platforms everywhere and parking is convenient. There are various villages and towns along the way, and it is convenient to eat. Zigui and Fengjie are both citrus bases. The price is very cheap.
