👏📣🤩Recently, construction officially commenced on LiebherrAerospace Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.’s new plant in the Large Aircraft Park, Lingang Special Area, Shanghai.
The facility represents a major expansion of Liebherr’s global production footprint. It will specialise in precisionmachined highstrength steel structural parts such as landinggear outer cylinders and piston rods, supported by advanced surfacetreatment lines. Once operational, the integrated regional hub for manufacturing, surface treatment and delivery will offer local support for COMAC C919 production.

👏📣🥳Congratulations! The SAICGM joint venture renewal signing ceremony was recently held in Pudong, Shanghai. SAIC Group and General Motors have formally signed an agreement to extend their jointventure term until 2047.
Built on nearly 30 years of successful partnership, this renewal underscores both sides’ confidence in China’s market potential and SAICGM’s transformation capabilities. The two parties will continue to pool resources to advance SAICGM’s smartelectric transition and global expansion.

A Jiading-based German firm , with over 30 years of footprint in China, has officially launched its second in-house production line for 6th generation millimeter wave radar.
Building on process and engineering expertise from its first production line, the new line was fully built in just six months. It delivers deep local-level re-engineering across three core pillars: line design, equipment manufacturing and supply chain.
This breaks the longstanding norm where foreign-owned ADAS component lines relied entirely on overseas solutions.

📣👏🥳On August 4, the Shanghai Investment Promotion Service Center held the 2nd special session of the Invest Shanghai Online Chamber with GlobalTech IP.

Relevant officials from the Shanghai Investment Promotion Service Center met virtually with Robin Peter Tensen, Founder of GlobalTech IP and CEO of Tensen International Technology Transfer Centre.

The two sides had in-depth discussions covering technology transfer and project investment, corporate global expansion and two-way collaboration, as well as industrial resource matching and event organisation.

🛫📣👏The Boeing Shanghai Aviation Flight Training Center officially opens in Yangshan Special Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Lingang New Area, Shanghai.
This 6,000+ sqm training hub operates two full-flight simulators for the Boeing 737 MAX and 787 Dreamliner, paired with fixed-base training devices, briefing rooms and a dedicated 787 door trainer.

🔹The Country Exhibition has confirmed participation from 57 countries and 3 international organizations. Moldova, Romania and the UNDP will make their CIIE debuts, while Canada will serve as the guest country of honor for the second time.
More than 1,200 companies from 99 countries and regions have signed up for the Enterprise & Business Exhibition, covering over 340,000 square meters.
🔹The lineup includes 265 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders. In addition, 169 companies and 30 overseas exhibition organizers will mark their ninth consecutive CIIE.
