Despite the challenging weather conditions, the spirit of Bayanihan, volunteerism, and commitment to a clean and safe school environment remained strong! 💚

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the learners, teachers, non-teaching personnel, PTA officers, barangay officials, SK officials, parents, and 4Ps beneficiaries who came together and actively participated in the School Clean-Up Drive.

The school celebrated Nutrition Month with the theme “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat para sa Lahat.” sub theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”, activities were conducted after the instructional block so that the regular instructional block were not interrupted.
For the Elementary learners, the activities
➡️Coloring Contest for Kindergarten to Grade 3,
➡️Drawing Contest for Grades 4 to 6,
➡️ Best in Nutrition Headdress.
These activities encouraged learners to appreciate healthy food and express their creativity.
For the Junior and Senior High School, learners participated in
➡️Poster-Making,
➡️Slogan-Making,
➡️Cookfest
➡️Nutri-Quiz Contests.
These activities helped strengthen their knowledge, creativity, teamwork, and awareness of proper nutrition.
The school also conducted Nutri-Zumba, participated in by learners and other participants. This activity emphasized the importance of combining proper nutrition with regular physical exercise.
➡️The School Feeding Program, headed by SPTA President Emmalyn A. Gabas, was also conducted to promote healthy food choices and support the nutritional needs of the learners.
Another highlight was the
➡️“Salo-Salo sa Nutrisyon,” held during the lunch break. It aimed to strengthen camaraderie among learners and teachers while promoting appreciation for nutritious meals and healthy food choices.
Overall, the Nutrition Month celebration was successful and meaningful. It encouraged everyone in the school community to value proper nutrition, healthy food choices, physical activity, and a healthy lifestyle.

PROJECT RISE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED! 📚

Casilagan Integrated School proudly launched Project RISE (Reading Intervention through Strategic Engagement) on August 17, 2026, marking another meaningful step toward building stronger readers and a sustainable school-wide reading culture.

Project RISE supports the ARAL Reading Program through systematic, structured, and engaging explicit reading sessions designed to strengthen learners’ decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension skills.

The launching was made more meaningful through the active participation of our school principal, teachers, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers, Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) officers, Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) officers, and ARAL Reading Coordinators.

📖 ARAL Reading Coordinators:
Filipino – High School: Ma’am Cynthia C. Ulit
English – High School: Ma’am Lalaine A. Lopez
Filipino – Elementary: Ma’am Jayzaine Abuan
English – Elementary: Ma’am Noime L. Perillo

This collaborative effort reflects the commitment of the entire CIS community to helping every learner develop stronger reading skills and become a more confident reader. The project also aims to strengthen the partnership among teachers, parents, and stakeholders in supporting learners’ reading development.

Sa kabila ng suspensyon ng klase dahil sa malakas na ulan, patuloy pa rin ang school monitoring ng ating butihing School Principal, Dr. Harold A. Estrada, upang masiguro ang kaligtasan ng ating paaralan.

“May mga araw na walang pasok, pero hindi ibig sabihin na walang responsibilidad. Dahil ang tunay na lider, kahit umuulan, marunong pa ring sumilip kung okay ang lahat.” ☔💙
