𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐬𝐚 𝐢𝐤𝐚-𝟐𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐂 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐬 (𝐁𝐎𝐓) 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐤𝐚-𝟐𝟕 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Tinalakay dito ang iba't ibang aspeto ng operasyon at serbisyo ng La Union Medical Center kung saan makikinabang ang lahat ng taga La Union. Kabilang sa mga pinagtibay ay mga hakbang para sa pagpapalakas ng manpower at benepisyo ng mga empleyado ng ospital, bilang patuloy na pagsisikap na mapahusay ang serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa ating mga kababayan.

Bilang Chairperson ng Committee on Finance Budget and Appropriations, ipinasa ng ating Committee ang Appropriation Ordinance 005-2026 na may layuning aprubahan ang Supplemental Budget No. 5 na may halagang ₱65,509,500.00 para sa probinsya ng La Union. Ang layunin ng ordinansang ito ay maglaan ng sapat na pondo para sa mga proyektong ikabubuti ng nakararami. Nakatuon ako sa pagsusulong ng napapanatiling kaunlaran, pagpapalakas ng mga serbisyo sa komunidad, at pagtiyak ng patuloy na pangangalaga sa publiko para sa bawat mamamayan ng La Union.

In line with Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 132, classes at all levels and government work in the Province of La Union are suspended effective 1:00 PM today, August 28, 2026, as a precautionary measure ahead of the expected intensification of the Southwest Monsoon by the Low Pressure Area currently within the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

During the Committee Meeting, we took up Resolution No. 2026-429 approving the 2026 Supplemental Annual Investment Program (SAIP) of Bauang, La Union for various agriculture programs, projects, and activities; City Resolution No. 26-380 approving the Third Supplemental PPAs to the 2026 Annual Investment Program of San Fernando City amounting to Php108,769,706.62; the Privilege Speech of Hon. Jefferson B. Fernando proposing Draft Provincial Ordinance No. 683-2026 granting incentives to qualified elected barangay officials who have completed three consecutive terms; and the Letter of Governor Mario Eduardo C. Ortega requesting the enactment of an Appropriation Ordinance for Supplemental Budget No. 5 amounting to Php65,509,500.00.

During the 59th Regular Session, I delivered a privilege speech proposing a resolution congratulating Mr. Christian C. Camdas for winning 1st Place in the Open Male Category of the La Union Spartan Race Trail 21KM held at Agoo Eco Park, Agoo, La Union.

I also sponsored Provincial Ordinance No. 665-2026, which sets clear rules for handling administrative cases before the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. This measure turns our existing policy under Resolution No. 656-2018 into a permanent, enforceable ordinance grounded in RA 7160 and its implementing rules, ensuring that complaints against our elective officials are handled fairly and transparently, for both complainants and respondents.
