VLTAVA slavná & splavná jako inspirace pro budoucnost Prahy 🏙️
Bylo nám ctí přivítat na výstavě zástupce dánského architektonického studia BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group , jehož návrh zvítězil v mezinárodní soutěži na podobu nové Vltavská filharmonie.
Hlavní kurátor Petr Pavelec hostům poutavě představil příběh řeky, která formuje Prahu i celou Českou republiku. Věříme, že naše výstava pomohla tvůrcům budoucí pražské dominanty lépe pochopit, jak zásadní roli Vltava hraje – kulturně, historicky i symbolicky.
A pokud si hosté ze studia BIG něco odnesli, tak snad to, že Vltava je zkrátka The BIG River.

VLTAVA famed & flowing as inspiration for the future of Prague 🏙️
We were honored to welcome representatives of the Danish architectural studio BIG, whose design won the international competition for the new Vltava Philharmonic Hall.
Chief curator Petr Pavelec gave our guests a fascinating presentation on the history of the river that shapes Prague and the entire Czech Republic. We believe that our exhibition helped the creators of Prague's future landmark to better understand the fundamental role played by the Vltava River – culturally, historicaly, and symbolically.
And if the guests from BIG took anything away with them, it was perhaps that the Vltava is simply The BIG River.
