DOWEA is a field activity of the Office of the Secretary of War. Each region is managed by a Director for Student Excellence.

Netzaberg Elementary is a PK-5th grade Department of War Education Activity (DOWEA) school serving the Netzaberg and the surrounding area. It is headed by a director who oversees all agency functions from DOWEA headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. DOWEA's schools are divided into three regions; DOWEA Europe; DOWEA Pacific; and DOWEA Americas. Within each of these three r

egions, schools are organized into eight districts headed by district superintendents. Generally accepted standards of etiquette for our Social Media Users

The SAC advises school and installation leaders on policies and programs, strengthens communication across our school community, and helps address and resolve issues.

Parents and staff are eligible to become voting members.
