Spangdahlem SOS is chaired by the 52 FW Community Support Coordinator. Member agencies include: School Liaison Office (SLO) The School Liaison Office advises the wing commander on matters relating to schools and military child education. The SLO promotes communication and collaboration between school, military organizations, community services, students and parents. Phone: 452-6942 Airman and Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) The A&FRC supports Spangdahlem Air Base's mission by equipping Airmen and their families with the information and tools necessary to ensure resiliency in an ever-changing military environment. Services Offered: Prevention of domestic violence and family maltreatment, play groups, Caring for Your Child through Divorce, Parenting, Anger Management and Couples Communication classes, briefings and squadron site visits, community awareness and involvement and New Parent Support Program - home-based nursing and psychosocial support for families with children ages 0-3. This is accomplished through religious observances, providing pastoral care, and advising leadership on spiritual, ethical, moral, morale, core values and religious accommodation issues. The Coffee Mill is open Friday and Saturday nights from 7-10 p/m.
