Last week, we welcomed international students from the Life Sciences sector to our Career Breakfast at the .

Together with heiSKILLS and the Hochschulteam of the Agentur für Arbeit, participants gained insights into the German job market, networking, and career opportunities in Germany.

✨ Getting ready for the Career Fair! ✨

How can you make the most of a job fair? 🤝

This was the key question we explored during our Career Fair Warm-Up at the guest house at the University of Mannheim.

During a breakfast session, our project coordinator Maira Suárez and student advisor Miriam Kucher supported international students in preparing for their visit to the Career Network Fair at the University of Mannheim. ☕🥐

Participants learned how to prepare strategically, approach companies, and make the most of networking opportunities. 🚀

A special highlight was the session with the Employment Agency Mannheim. Nikolina Hartmann-Pusticki shared valuable tips on how to deliver a strong elevator pitch and communicate confidently with potential employers. 💬

We are glad to have supported our participants on their way to the Career Fair! 🌟

Die Zusammenarbeit mit den Herkunftsländern stärken.
Das war das Ziel einer Hospitation, die wir letzte Woche bei uns im Welcome Center Rhein-Neckar durchgeführt haben. Zu Besuch waren zwei Mitarbeitende vom Projekt „Vorintegration“ der Goethe Institute in Pune, Indien und Lagos, Nigeria.

Unsere beiden Gäste sorgen in ihren Heimatländern dafür, dass sich Zuwandernde möglichst gut auf ihren Aufenthalt in Deutschland vorbereitet fühlen. 💪

An den drei Tagen haben wir im Welcome Center Rhein-Neckar unsere Türen geöffnet und verschiedene Partnerinnen und Partner in der Region besucht.

Auf dem Programm standen:
-      ein Besuch bei der Volkshochschule Bezirk Schwetzingen
-      ein Karrierefrühstück für int. Studierende an der Uni Mannheim
-      ein Besuch beim Goethe Institut in Mannheim
-      eine Führung durch die Heidelberger Altstadt

Das Fazit: Kooperationen stärken lohnt sich! 🤝

Am 16.04.2026 hatte das Welcome Center die wunderbare Gelegenheit, am Seminar BFD 27plus teilzunehmen, organisiert von Caritas und in Zusammenarbeit mit den IZ-Team 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼💪🏼🤩

Es war ein schöner Nachmittag, an dem wir Ideen, Erfahrungen und Perspektiven austauschen konnten. Solche Begegnungen zeigen, wie wichtig das Engagement der Zivilgesellschaft ist und welchen wertvollen Beitrag sie für ein offenes, solidarisches Miteinander leistet. 🌏🌍🌎🙌🏻

Momente wie diese machen deutlich, wie bereichernd Zusammenarbeit ist und wie viel wir voneinander lernen können.

In March, we had the wonderful opportunity to take part in the Ladies Brunch organized by the German-American Institute (DAI) in Heidelberg. 🙌🏻

It was a truly enriching experience, where we engaged in meaningful exchanges with inspiring women, each sharing parts of their journey and their passion for connecting, exchanging ideas, and growing together. ❤️✨
The atmosphere highlighted how valuable it is to build strong networks and support one another. 👯‍♀️🌍🌎🌏

We are grateful for these connections and look forward to future collaborations, continued cooperation, and meeting even more inspiring people who have so much to contribute. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🎇

we had the pleasure of joining the onboarding session for the first cohort of the brand-new English-taught study program “Bachelor International Engineering” at TH Mannheim. 🎓

As the Welcome Center Rhein-Neckar, we were happy to introduce our services and share how we support international students and professionals in the region – from navigating the German job market to settling into life in Germany.
