Rancho Lorilar was named by a Canadian couple, Lori and Larry in 1993. The ranch is located at the base of Mt.

Isabel de Torres, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Rancho Lorilar is a well established Canadian owned ranch in the Dominican Republic offering half day, full day and private riding for riders of all experience. It does not matter whether you have never ridden a horse, if you are an experienced rider or somewhere in between - we will have a horse that will be suitable for you. Your safety is our

primary concern, safety helmets are provided as standard, you will recieve a safety briefing and riding instructions before you commence your riding adventure. This is probably the best way to see the real Dominican Republic!

Some exciting news.....we now have 1/2 day mountain rides, 1/2 day beach rides, sunset beach rides with dinner and bonfire, and for those that really love horse riding and excitment and adventure we have a combo mountain/beach ride with lunch.
