“La Dura Dura” is how we named our very first coffee roast from our Climbing Series and it was inspired by the world's second sport climb graded at 9b+ (5.15c) located in Oliana, Spain, on a beautiful limestone cliff face that probably has more hard routes than anywhere else in the world. “La Dura Dura” essentially means the “Hardest of the Hard". This specialty-grade single origin coffee is sourced from Productores Serranos de Café de Motozintla. Located within the fertile, biodiverse southern tier of Mexico, this easy-drinking Chiapas coffee is grown on small, indigenous family-owned farms that prioritize the conservation of its agro-ecosystem. Smooth and balanced this shade grown, City+ roast coffee pairs beautifully with milk ☕️ 🧗‍♀️

Kokopelli is the first coffee of our Bikepacking / Cycling series. This coffee is a new generation coffee from the island of Sumatra, Indonesia, and it has flavor notes of cacao, cedar and bell pepper with a hint of lavender floral notes. It’s a very clean and balanced cup and provides the body that is expected from Indonesian coffees. It was sourced from selected producers surrounding the town of Lintong Nihuta in Northern Sumatra island. This specific area is located on the southern shores of Lake Toba, which is the largest volcanic lake in the world.

We named this single origin roast after the famous 150 miles bikepacking 🚴 route Kokopelli Trail , which in 2020 was completed in only 11h 14m by legend ciclist

and source of inspiration - repost from Tomorrow I’m going to get up real early and try to ride the Kokopelli trail in one go. Ever since and I stumbled on a very small part of this trail during a thereabouts trip I’ve wanted to come back and ride it. The idea of riding this has been a light at the end of the lock down tunnel for me. It’s a real privilege to have such incredible areas be accessible to all the public and I plan on enjoying every moment. I’m nervous and excited, a 60/40 split. Haven’t had this feeling in a while. You’ll be able to follow my progress online.
