🍄✨ Citizen science continues to uncover extraordinary discoveries.
Thanks to the network of mycological guides promoted by the European Mycological Institute (EMI), an exceptional finding has been made in a truffle plantation in Soria (Spain): the extremely rare Squamanita schreieri has been discovered parasitizing Amanita strobiliformis.
Discoveries like this remind us how much remains to be explored in the fascinating world of fungi. Through collaboration between researchers, mycological guides, and passionate observers, we continue to expand the frontiers of knowledge and reveal hidden dimensions of fungal biodiversity.
🔬 An exceptional discovery.
🌍 A powerful example of citizen science in action.
🍄 Another step forward in understanding the invisible richness of our ecosystems.
