A veces surge algo que antes no existía, algo que sientes incluso antes de comprenderlo por completo.

Del 17 al 19 de abril escribiremos juntos un primer capítulo. En Masia de Matuta tenemos el honor de acoger el primer Retiro de Caballos y Yoga en la región de Valencia y Castellón.

Un fin de semana en el que, por la mañana, desenrollas tu esterilla con vistas a las colinas, profundizas tu respiración en el silencio de la naturaleza y, más tarde, te encuentras cara a cara con un caballo que te invita a sentir en lugar de pensar. Sin rendimiento. Sin obligaciones. Solo presencia, suavidad y confianza.

Los caballos reflejan sin juzgar. El yoga abre sin forzar. Juntos crean una experiencia que va más allá de la relajación: es volver a casa en tu cuerpo, en tu intuición, en ti mismo.

Esto no es un retiro cualquiera.
Es una primicia. Una combinación única. Una experiencia que recordarás durante años.

Two chairs side by side,
a bottle of wine gently being poured, glasses catching the last golden light of the sun. The warmth of the day still lingers in the air as the evening slowly drifts across the landscape. You lean back, feel the tension melt from your shoulders, and notice how quiet it can truly be.

There is conversation, but without hurry. Laughter, soft and unforced. Maybe there are even a few minutes when nothing is said at all and that is perfectly enough. The world grows smaller, clearer, until it fits between two chairs and a shared glass.

These are the evenings that remind you how simple happiness can feel.

Dos sillas una al lado de la otra,
una botella de vino que se sirve suavemente, copas que atrapan el último oro del sol. El calor del día aún permanece en el aire mientras la tarde se desliza lentamente sobre el paisaje. Te recuestas, sientes cómo la calma baja por tus hombros y descubres lo silencioso que realmente puede ser todo.

Hay conversación, pero sin prisa. Risas suaves, naturales. Quizás incluso haya unos minutos en los que no se diga nada y eso sea exactamente suficiente. El mundo se vuelve más pequeño, más claro, hasta caber entre dos sillas y una copa compartida.

Estas son las tardes que te recuerdan lo sencillo que puede sentirse la felicidad.

At Masia de Matuta, mornings begin with sun over 27 hectares of olive trees.

Solar energy powers the estate, silence powers you.

No agenda.
No expectations.
No role to perform.

Just the mountains of the Sierra de Espadán, slow mornings, shared meals, and a small circle of women who came here for the same reason: to exhale.

And in that space, something changes. Not because you have to transform, but because there is finally room to simply be.

What kind of place is this?

This is our home and a place to gather with intention.

Masia de Matuta is a small-scale retreat & gathering house in the heart of the Sierra de Espadán.

We live here as a family.👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
We care for the land, the olive trees, the rooms, and the long tables where people come together. Everything you experience here has been built with intention, step by step, season after season.

We host a maximum of 14 guests.

Because silence needs space, connection thrives in smaller groups and true attention is not scalable.

People come here for:

The Masia runs entirely on solar energy.
Our water comes from our own spring.
And we actively contribute to preserving this landscape, in collaboration with organizations such as the World Wide Fund for Nature. 🐼

What you won’t find here: crowds or noise.
What you will find: quiet, space, and a place that is carefully tended.

Masia de Matuta is for small, intentional gatherings that choose quality over quantity.

Esta es nuestra casa y un lugar para reunirse con intención.

Masia de Matuta es un espacio íntimo de retiro y encuentro en el corazón de la Sierra de Espadán.

Vivimos aquí como familia 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Cuidamos la tierra, los olivos, las habitaciones y las mesas largas donde las personas se reúnen. Todo lo que experimentas aquí ha sido creado con intención, paso a paso, estación tras estación.

Acogemos a un máximo de 14 huéspedes.

Porque el silencio necesita espacio,la conexión florece en grupos pequeños y la verdadera atención no es escalable.

Behind the scenes at Masia de Matuta ✨️

We are closed, but very much in motion: renovating, planning, improving and taking time to slow down with family and friends.

💫 We’re working on beautiful new rooms, pool terraces, and shaping ideas for retreats we want to fully focus on in the coming year.

In March, we’ll open our doors again; refreshed, inspired, and ready to welcome guests seeking rest, nature and connection. 🍃

Entre bambalinas en Masia de Matuta ✨

Cerrados por ahora, pero en pleno movimiento: reformando, planificando, mejorando y también tomándonos el tiempo para bajar el ritmo con familia y amigos.

💫 Estamos creando nuevas habitaciones, terrazas junto a la piscina y dando forma a ideas de retiros en los que queremos centrarnos plenamente el próximo año.

En marzo volveremos a abrir nuestras puertas, renovados, inspirados y listos para acoger a quienes buscan descanso, naturaleza y conexión.🍃

In three days, you’ll immerse yourself in the art of bread baking.

You’ll learn to work with sourdough, sense when dough is truly ready, and discover how to bake delicious loaves using the simple tools you already have at home.

Together we’ll practice techniques like rounding and shaping, so you’ll take home not just recipes, but real craftsmanship at your fingertips.

And of course… we knead together, bake together, and share a meal together at the table 🌿
