Los bolsos Bughambilia están hechos de huipiles reciclados 100% algodón y cuero, son piezas únicas y su creación es un proceso mágico. El huipil es la blusa típica que usan las mujeres indígenas de Guatemala que se mantienen fieles a sus tradiciones, es más que una simple blusa ya que en su huipil podemos ver a qué comunidad pertenecen. El proceso para desarrollar un huipil es muy complejo porque
hay que unir varias piezas para lograr elaborados diseños, todo hecho a mano lo cual implica semanas de trabajo, hasta 6 meses. En los diseños se utilizan figuras de la naturaleza, tales como pájaros, ciervos, perros, colinas y flores. Los huipiles reciclados han pertenecido a las mujeres de diferentes comunidades y han sido previamente lavados para que los artesanos puedan convertirlos en los hermosos bolsos que te ofrecemos. Cada bolso es único, no hay dos iguales y cada huipil pertenece a una comunidad que tiene su propia historia, costumbres y tradiciones. La producción y compra de estas artesanías beneficia a diferentes comunidades indígenas que a través de su trabajo promueven el desarrollo local y de sus familias brindándoles acceso a la educación, salud y mejora de vida, así como la preservación de sus tradiciones y cultura milenaria. The process to develop a huipil is very complex because you have to join several pieces together to achieve elaborate designs, all handmade which means weeks of work, up to 6 months.
