በቤኒን የዲጂታል ትራንስፎርሜሽን እና ኢኖቬሽን ሚኒስትር ማሁና አክፕሎጋን ከተመራው ከፍተኛ የልዑካን ቡድን ጋር በዲጂታላይዜሽን እና የአርቲፊሻል ኢንተለጀንስ ትግበራ ዙሪያ ፍሬያማ ውይይት አካሂደናል።
በውይይታችን ወቅት ኢንስቲትዩታችን የዲጂታል ኢትዮጵያ 2030 ራዕይን ለማሳካት እያከናወናቸው ያሉትን የቴክኖሎጂ ምርምርና ልማት ስራዎች አንስተናል፡፡ ሚኒስትሩ ኢንስቲትዩታችን በዘርፉ እያከናወነ ያለውን አህጉራዊ አርአያነት ያለው ተግባር አድንቀዋል።

ሁለቱ ሀገራት በዲጂታላይዜሽን ዘርፍ በጋራ መስራታቸው አህጉራዊ ዘላቂ ልማትን ለማፋጠን ከፍተኛ አስተዋፅኦ አለው፡፡ በቀጣይም በቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር፣ በልምድ ልውውጥ እና በአቅም ግንባታ ዙሪያ በትብብር ለመስራት የሚያስችሉ የጋራ አቅጣጫዎች ላይ ተወያይተናል።

We held a fruitful discussion on digitalization and artificial intelligence implementation with a high-level delegation led by Mahouna Akplogan, Benin’s Minister of Digital Transformation and Innovation.
During our discussion, we highlighted the technology research and development initiatives our institute is undertaking to achieve the Digital Ethiopia 2030 vision. The Minister commended our institute's work, noting its role as a continental model in the sector.

Collaboration between the two countries in the field of digitalization plays a significant role in accelerating sustainable continental development. Furthermore, we discussed joint directions to work together in technology transfer, experience sharing, and capacity building moving forward.

በአሜሪካ መንግሥት የመካከለኛው ምስራቅ እና አፍሪካ ምክትል ረዳት ሚኒስትር ማርክ ሚቸል ከተመራ ከፍተኛ ልዑክ ጋር የነበረን ፍሬያማ ቆይታ

በኢትዮጵያ አርቲፊሻል ኢንተለጀንስ ኢንስቲትዩት በአሜሪካ መንግሥት የመካከለኛው ምስራቅ እና አፍሪካ ምክትል ረዳት ሚኒስትር ማርክ ሚቸል የተመራን ከፍተኛ ልዑክ ተቀብለን የሥራ ጉብኝት አድርገናል። በቆይታችንም በሁለቱ ሀገራት መካከል ያለውን የረጅም ዓመታት ታሪካዊ ግንኙነት በማስታወስ፣ ኢንስቲትዩታችን በሰው ሰራሽ አስተውሎት ዘርፍ እያከናወናቸው ባሉ ዋና ዋና የምርምር እና ልማት ስራዎች ላይ ፍሬያማ ዉይይት አድርገናል።
ምክትል ረዳት ሚኒስትር ማርክ ሚቸል በበኩላቸው በኢንስቲትዩታችን በሮቦቲክስ፣ በሆሎግራም፣ በተፈጥሮ ቋንቋ ቅንብር እና በስታርታፕ ድጋፍ የታዩ ስራዎች ከጠበቁት በላይ እና ለአርአያነት የሚበቁ መሆናቸውን ገልጸዋል። ከጉብኝቱ ባሻገርም ሁለቱ ሀገራት በሰው ሰራሽ አስተውሎት ቴክኖሎጂ ዘርፍ በጋራ መስራት በሚችሉባቸው የትብብር እድሎች ላይ ውጤታማ ውይይት አድርገናል። ኢትዮጵያን የኤአይ ቴክኖሎጂ ማዕከል ለማድረግ የምናደርገውን ጉዞ በጋራ ጥረትና በትብብር አጠናክረን እንቀጥላለን!
A Fruitful Engagement with a High-Level Delegation Led by U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Middle East and Africa, Mark Mitchell
We hosted and conducted a working visit with a high-level delegation led by Mark Mitchell, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Middle East and Africa, at the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute. During our time together, reflecting on the long-standing historical relations between the two countries, we held fruitful discussions on the key research and development initiatives our institute is carrying out in the field of artificial intelligence.
For his part, Deputy Assistant Secretary Mark Mitchell noted that the work demonstrated at our institute in robotics, holograms, natural language processing, and startup support exceeded expectations and serves as an exemplary model. Beyond the tour, we engaged in productive discussions regarding opportunities for collaboration where both nations can work together in AI technology. We will continue to strengthen our shared efforts and cooperation on our journey to position Ethiopia as an AI technology hub!

ለኢትዮጵያ ሁለንተናዊ እድገት እና ዲጂታል ትራንስፎርሜሽን መሳካት ቁልፍ የሆኑ የመጀመሪያውን ዙር የኤአይ ስታርታፕ ሰልጣኞቻችንን በዛሬው ዕለት በማስመረቃችን ታላቅ ደስታ ተሰምቶኛል። ተመራቂዎቻችን እንኳን ደስ አላችሁ፡፡
ይህ ታሪካዊ አጋጣሚ የያዝነው "ዲጂታል ኢትዮጵያ 2030" ራዕያችን በተጨባጭ ስኬትና በአስተማማኝ መሰረት ላይ ለመገንባቱ ህያው ማሳያ ነው፡፡
የኤአይ ስታርታፕ ማዕከላችን ከፅንሰ-ሃሳብ ተነስቶ የዛሬውን ስኬት እንዲያስመዘግብ እንዲሁም ዓለም አቀፍ ተወዳዳሪ የሆኑ ስታርታፖች እንዲፈጠሩ ክቡር ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር ዐቢይ አሕመድ ለሰጡን ጠንካራ አመራር እና ሀገር ገንቢ ለትውልድ ተሻጋሪ ራዕያቸው የላቀ ምስጋናዬን አቀርባለሁ።
በድጋሜ ዛሬ ለተመረቃችሁ ወጣት ስታርታፖች በሙሉ እንኳን ደስ ያላችሁ!
I am deeply delighted today as we graduate our first round of AI startup trainees, who are key to Ethiopia's holistic development and the success of its digital transformation. Congratulations to our graduates! This historic occasion is a living testament that our 'Digital Ethiopia 2030' vision is being built on concrete achievements and a reliable foundation.

ዛሬ በኢትዮጵያ አርቲፊሻል ኢንተለጀንስ ኢንስቲትዩት የቀድሞውን የእንግሊዝ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር እና የቶኒ ብሌየር ኢንስቲትዩት መስራችና ሊቀመንበር ሰር ቶኒ ብሌየርን እና የልኡካን ቡድናቸውን ተቀብለን በማናገራችን ትልቅ ደስታ ተሰምቶኛል።
በውይይታችን ሰር ቶኒ ብሌየር አርቲፊሻል ኢንተለጀንስ የመንግስት አገልግሎት አሰጣጥን በማዘመን ረገድ ካለው ከፍተኛ ሚና አኳያ ተቋማቸው ከኢንስቲትዩታችን ጋር በትብብር ለመስራት ያለውን ሙሉ ቁርጠኝነት አረጋግጠውልኛል።
የቶኒ ብሌየር ኢንስቲትዩት የኢትዮጵያን የዲጂታላይዜሽን ጉዞ በመደገፍ ረገድ ለሚያደርገው ጉልህ አበርክቶ የላቀ ምስጋናዬን አቀርባለሁ። በቀጣይም በሀገራችን የኤአይ ቴክኖሎጂ ልማትን እና ተግባራዊነትን ወደ ላቀ ደረጃ ለማሸጋገር በትብብር መስራታችንን አጠናክረን እንቀጥላለን!

Today, I had the great pleasure of welcoming and speaking with former British Prime Minister, Founder, and Executive Chairman of the Tony Blair Institute, Sir Tony Blair, along with his delegation, at the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute.
During our discussion, highlighting the vital role artificial intelligence plays in modernizing public service delivery, Sir Tony Blair reaffirmed his institute's full commitment to working in collaboration with our institute.
I express my deepest gratitude to the Tony Blair Institute for its significant contribution in supporting Ethiopia’s digitalization journey. Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen our collaboration to elevate the development and implementation of AI technology in our country to the next level!

በዓለም አቀፍ የፓርላማ መረጃና ደህንነት ፎረም ላይ በመገኘት የሰዉ ሰራሽ አስተዉሎት ለቅድመ ማስጠንቀቂያ እና ለጋራ የደህንነት ምላሽ (AI for Early Warning and Collective Security Response) የሚኖረዉን ሚና አስመልክቶ ገለፃ አቅርቤያለሁ።

በተለይም በክቡር ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ (ዶ/ር) አማካኝነት ከስድስት ዓመት በፊት በኢትዮጵያ የሰዉ ሰራሽ አስተዉሎትን የሚያለማ እና ዘርፉን የሚመራ ተቋም ማቋቋማቸዉ ይታወቃል።

በዉይይቱም ኢትዮጵያ የሰዉ ሰራሽ አስተዉሎት ቴክኖሎጂን በመጠቀም ካስመዘገበቻቸዉ ዉጤታማ ስራዎች መካከል የSmart court system, የEFP App, የSmart police station, የEarly warning system, የSmart Border Control እና ሌሎች ለዘርፉ አስፈላጊነት የበለፀጉ ስርዓቶች ለታዳሚያን ቀርበዋል።

በሀገራት መካከል መረጃዎችን በመለዋወጥ የጋራ በማድረግ የዜጎቻቸውን ደህንነት ለማረጋገጥና ድንበር ተሻጋሪ ወንጀለኞችን ለሕግ ለማቅረብ ለሚደረገዉ ጥረት ይህ ፎረም አጋዥ እንደሚሆን ታምኖበታል። ሀገራችን ኢትዮጵያም በመረጃ ላይ የተመሰረተ የሰዉ ሰራሽ አስተዉሎት ቴክኖሎጂን በማልማት በኃላፊነት እና በግለፅነት ለሀገር ልማት ግንባታ እያዋልን እንደምንገኝ ለፎረሙ ታዳሚያን በማጋራቴ ደስተኛ ነኝ።

ኢትዮጵያ በጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ(ዶ/ር) አመራር በአርቲፊሻል ኢንተለጀንስ ዘርፍ የአፍሪካ የልህቀት ማዕከል ለመሆን የሚያስችል ጠንካራ መሠረት ጥላለች።
ይህንን ስራ ወደላቀ ስኬት ለማሸጋገር የሚያግዝ የትብብር ስምምነት ከጤና ሚኒስትር ጋር ተፈራርመናል። ኢንስቲትዩታችን ከተለያዩ የአገር ውስጥ እና ዓለም አቀፍ ተቋማት ጋር የሚፈርማቸው የመግባቢያ ስምምነቶች (MoU) የጋራ ምርምርን፣ የዕውቀት ሽግግርን እና የቴክኖሎጂ ፈጠራን በማጎልበት ረገድ ትልቅ ድርሻ አላቸው።በዚሁ መሰረት ዛሬ የኢትዮጵያ አርቲፊሻል ኢንተለጀንስ ኢንስቲትዩት ከኢፌዴሪ ጤና ሚኒስቴር ጋር የተፈራረመው የመግባቢያ ስምምነት የቴክኖሎጂና የጤናው ዘርፍ ጥምረትን ወደ ላቀ ምዕራፍ የሚያሸጋግር ታሪካዊ ምዕራፍ ነው። ይህ ትብብር በዘርፉ አዳዲስ ምርምሮችን በማካሄድና የቴክኖሎጂ ፈጠራን በማጎልበት ለሀገራችን ብቻ ሳይሆን ለመላው አፍሪካ የሚተርፉ ውጤታማ የጤና አገልግሎቶችን ለመፍጠር ያስችለናል። የተቀናጀ የዲጂታል ኢኮኖሚን በመገንባት ብልጽግናችንን እውን ለማድረግ በቁርጠኝነት እየሰራን እንገኛለን።
Ethiopia, under the leadership of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), has laid a strong foundation to become a center of excellence for Artificial Intelligence in Africa.
To elevate this work to greater success, we have signed a collaborative agreement with the Ministry of Health. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that our Institute signs with various domestic and international institutions play a significant role in fostering joint research, knowledge transfer, and technological innovation. Accordingly, the memorandum of understanding signed today between the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute and the FDRE Ministry of Health marks a historic milestone that will take the synergy between the technology and health sectors to a higher level. This collaboration will enable us to conduct new research in the field and foster technological innovation to create effective health services that will benefit not only our country but the entire African continent. We are working with commitment to build an integrated digital economy and realize our prosperity.
