H.E. Abdalla Al Shamsi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, received at the Embassy Mr. Guang Cong, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and reviewed relations and cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the United Nations, as well as ways to further strengthen and develop them in support of their shared interests.

በኢትዮጵያ ፌዴራላዊ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ሪፐብሊክ የተባበሩት ዓረብ ኤምሬቶች አምባሳደር የሆኑት ክቡር አብደላ ሐሰን አልሻምሲ፣ የተባበሩት መንግሥታት የአፍሪካ ቀንድ ልዩ መልዕክተኛን አቶ ጓንግ ኮንግን በኤምባሲው ተቀብለው አነጋግረዋል።
በውይይቱም ወቅት ሁለቱ ወገኖች በጋራ ጥቅም ላይ በተመሠረቱ በርካታ ጉዳዮች ላይ ተወያይተው፣ በተባበሩት ዓረብ ኤሚሬቶችና በተባበሩት መንግሥታት መካከል ያሉ ግንኙነቶችንና ትብብሮችን ገምግመዋል።
በተጨማሪም የጋራ ጥቅሞቻቸውን በሚያገለግል መልኩ ያለውን ትብብር ይበልጥ ለማጠናከርና ለማስፋት ስለሚቻሉበት መንገዶች ላይ ሀሳቦችን ተለዋውጠዋል።

H.E. Abdalla Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador , met with H.E. Hadera Abre Admassu, Ethiopian State Minister for Foreign Affairs, where they discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia.

The meeting also addressed prospects for expanding cooperation in the political and economic fields.

Both sides affirmed that UAE–Ethiopia relations are founded on longstanding ties of friendship and mutual understanding, and continue to witness steady development across various areas, further strengthening the strategic partnership and supporting shared development and prosperity.

በኢትዮጵያ ፌዴራላዊ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ሪፐብሊክ የተባበሩት ዓረብ ኤምሬቶች አምባሳደር የሆኑት ክቡር አብደላ ሐሰን አልሻምሲ፣ ከኢትዮጵያ የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስቴር ሚኒስትር ዴኤታ ክቡር ሐደራ አብሬ አድማሱ ጋር ተገናኝተው፣ በተባበሩት ዓረብ ኤሚሬቶችና በኢትዮጵያ መካከል ያለውን የሁለትዮሽ ግንኙነት ይበልጥ ለማጠናከር በሚቻልበት መንገዶች ላይ ተወያይተዋል።
በወቅቱም ፣ በፖለቲካዊና በኢኮኖሚያዊ መስኮች ያለውን ትብብር የበለጠ ለማስፋት ስለሚያስችሉ እድሎችም ሰፊ ውይይት አካሂደዋል።
ሁለቱም ወገኖች የኢሚሬቶችና የኢትዮጵያ ግንኙነት በረጅም ዘመን በቆየ የወዳጅነት እና የጋራ መግባባት ትስስር ላይ የተመሠረተ መሆኑን አረጋግጠዋል። ግንኙነቱም በተለያዩ ዘርፎች በቀጣይነት እያደገ በመሆኑ፣ የሁለቱን አገራት ስትራቴጂካዊ አጋርነት ይበልጥ በማጠናከር ለጋራ ልማትና ብልጽግና የሚያበረክተውን ሚና እያጎለበተ መሆኑንም ገልጸዋል።

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Addis Ababa participated in the Roundtable on Climate,
Peace and Security in Africa, organized by the African Union, the United Nations, and the Embassy of
Australia.

During the roundtable, Mr. Rashed abdalla Al Zoy, Head of the African Union Affairs Section at the UAE
Embassy, reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to supporting international efforts to advance the climate,
peace, and security agenda. He highlighted the UAE’s hosting, in partnership with Senegal, of the 2026
United Nations Water Conference in Abu Dhabi, underscoring the country’s commitment to
strengthening international cooperation and promoting sustainable development.

በአዲስ አበባ የሚገኘው የተባበሩት አረብ ኤምሬቶች ኤምባሲ በአፍሪካ ህብረት፣ በተባበሩት መንግስታት እና በአውስትራሊያ ኤምባሲ በጋራ በመሆን በተዘጋጀው የአፍሪካ በአየር ንብረት፣ በሰላም እና በደህንነት ዙርያ ላይ ባጠነጠው ስብሰባ ላይ ተሳትፎ አድርጏል።

በክብ ጠረጴዛው ውይይት ወቅት፣ በተባበሩት አረብ ኤምሬቶች ኤምባሲ የአፍሪካ ህብረት ጉዳዮች ክፍል ኃላፊ ሚስተር ራሺድ አብደላ አል ዞይ፤ የተባበሩት አረብ ኤምሬቶች የአየር ንብረት፣ የሰላም እና የደህንነት አጀንዳዎችን ለማራመድ ዓለም አቀፍ ጥረቶችን ለመደገፍ ያላትን ቁርጠኝነት አጽንኦት ሰጥተዋል። የተባበሩት አረብ ኤምሬቶች ኤምባሲ ከሴኔጋል ጋር በመተባበር የ2026ቱን የተባበሩት መንግስታት የውሃ ኮንፈረንስ በአቡ ዳቢ ማስተናገዷን አንስተው፣ይህም አገሪቱ ዓለም አቀፍ ትብብርን ለማጠናከር እና ዘላቂ ልማትን ለማሳደግ ያላትን ቁርጠኝነት አጉልቶ ያሳያል ብለዋል ።

H.E. Abdalla Hassan Alshamsi, Ambassador-designate of the UAE to Ethiopia, attended the AI RISE 2026 First Cohort Graduation and Showcase, organized by the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute as part of its efforts to strengthen Ethiopia’s AI startup ecosystem.

The event featured the recognition of a distinguished group of innovators, in the presence of H.E. Temesgen Tiruneh, Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

የተባበሩት ዓረብ ኤሚሬቶች በኢትዮጵያ ፌዴራላዊ ዴሞክራሲያዊ ሪፐብሊክ አምባሳደር ክቡር አብደላ ሐሰን አልሻምሲ፣ በኢትዮጵያ አርቲፊሻል ኢንተለጀንስ ኢንስቲትዩት በተዘጋጀው የAI RISE 2026 የመጀመሪያ ዙር የምረቃና የማሳያ ሥነ-ሥርዓት ላይ ተገኝተዋል። መርሃ ግብሩ በኢትዮጵያ ያሉ በሰው ሠራሽ ዕውቀት ዘርፍ የሚሰሩ ጀማሪ ኩባንያዎችን ለማበረታታት የሚደረጉ ጥረቶች አካል ነው።

በዝግጅቱም ላይ የተመረጡ ፈጠራ ባለሙያዎች ተሸልመዋል፣ ሥነ-ሥርዓቱም ምክትል ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ክቡር አቶ ተመስገን ጥሩነህ በተገኙበት ተካሂዷል።

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest and discussed ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership, consultation, and cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the African Union.

His Excellency Abdullah Hassan Al Shamsi presented a copy of his credentials to His Excellency Melaku Bedada, Director of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, as Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
The presentation took place during an official ceremony held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
H.E. Melaku Bedada welcomed the Ambassador and wished him success in carrying out his duties, reaffirming Ethiopia’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the United Arab Emirates in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries.
For his part, H.E. Al Shamsi expressed his pride in representing the UAE in Ethiopia and emphasized his commitment to enhancing and activating bilateral relations across various fields, in support of the strong bonds of friendship between the two nations.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed areas of cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia and discussed ways to further develop and expand them in order to achieve the aspirations and interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
