🌈 We'll meet up in front of the Porthania building of the University of Helsinki at 11:30. The parade will start off from the Senate Square at 12, from where we'll arrive in Kaivopuisto approx. at 15.
🌈 Helsinki Pride Park Festival will be held in Kaivopuisto. It's a good idea to bring along some snacks for the picnic!
🌈 JEF is participating in Helsinki Pride as part of joint departure.

What do the upcoming EU elections and their dynamics look like across Europe? And what is the significance of the parliament in the union?
JEF Helsinki and JEF Heidelberg-Mannheim are organizing an event focusing on the upcoming elections from the perspectives of different member states! 🇪🇺
The speaker is Manuel Müller from the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, who researches topics such as EU elections, integration, and German politics 💭
This event is open to all and it will be held in a hybrid format. There will be a Zoom to participate in the event, but in Helsinki, the event will be held in the city centre, at the New Student House. In the building, there is an elevator, but some doorways are less than 90 cm wide, so the space is not entirely accessible.

JEF Helsinki is organizing an event about the escalation that is taking place in the conflict between Kosovo and Serbia. The event will be held on Thursday 21.3. at Oluthuone Kaisla (Vilhonkatu 4) starting at 18:00. In the event, you will learn about what fuelled the recent escalation, both practical and traditional; there will also be a focus on the role of the EU and a comparison with other conflicts currently taking place.
The event is part of JEF Europe's -campaign which aims to draw attention to how democratic values are being oppressed in the EU.
