🚧 **NOTICE TO DEVELOPERS & PROPERTY OWNERS** 🚧
Labasa Town Council is reminding all developers, contractors and property owners to ensure that all development works are fully compliant with required approvals and conditions.
It has come to Council’s attention that some developments are being carried out **without proper approvals or without meeting required conditions**, including clearances from relevant authorities such as the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) and Fiji Roads Authority.
Please note:
* All works must be carried out in accordance with approved plans and permits
* All relevant authority clearances must be obtained
* No building should be occupied without meeting approval conditions
* Storm Water and Waste Water Connections to be carried out/corrected as required (Waste Water to Sewer Line and Storm Water to Registered Drain Nearby)
Council will be **stepping up inspections and follow-ups** on developments currently underway.
Any development found to be non-compliant will be dealt with accordingly, including the **issuance of notices and action under the relevant Acts**.
Developers and property owners who may have outstanding approvals or compliance issues are strongly advised to **address them immediately or contact Council for assistance**.
Your cooperation is important in ensuring safe and orderly development within Labasa.
