The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) continues its YES Outreach in the Northern Division today, providing Voter Registration and Awareness services to students and teachers of Vunimoli Islamia College and Labasa College.

The school visit focused on registering first time voters, informing students on the importance of elections, voting, and active participation in Fiji’s democratic processes.

The FEO remains committed to bringing voter registration and awareness closer to every Fijian to make sure every eligible voter is registered and every voter’s details are up to date.

Proposed ‘Liberation of Fiji Party’ submits Application for Registration

Registrar of Political Parties Ms Ana Mataiciwa today, Wednesday 03 June 2026, received an application for registration from the Proposed 'Liberation of Fiji Party'.

Preparation is underway to publish the party’s application in a newspaper and in the Gazette, as required under the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Act 2013.

Once the publication is made, the objections period will officially open.

During the objections period, members of the public will have the opportunity to submit a written objection to the FEO regarding the party’s application for registration.
